PRIVACY

Your information stays yours.

Effective September 17, 2026

BeHope360 is in private beta. Most app information is stored on your device. The public website cannot read your Apple Health records, calendar, photos, journals, prayers, meals, or Pilot Schedule.

Information stored on your device

The app can store goals, journal entries, prayers, meal records, saved foods, planned workouts, coaching notes, selected settings, progress photos, and a cached Pilot Schedule. Progress photos and the Pilot Schedule use iOS file protection. Removing the app removes its local data, subject to normal iPhone backup and restore behavior.

Apple Health

If you choose to connect Apple Health, BeHope360 requests read access to activity, workouts, sleep, heart rate, blood pressure, and weight so it can show your progress and prepare personal summaries. Health access is controlled in iPhone Settings. BeHope360 does not use Health information for advertising, sell it, or send it to the public website or meal-scanning service.

Calendar and Pilot Schedule

If you choose a work calendar, the app reads events from that selected Apple Calendar and caches schedule details locally for Pilot Schedule and recovery planning. The cached schedule is not copied into the public BeHope360 website. Pilot Work web pages keep their own authentication; BeHope360 does not store those passwords.

Photos

Progress photos stay inside the app’s protected local storage unless you intentionally share them. Nutrition-label photos are processed on the device. When you voluntarily use Snap a Meal, the selected food photo and the portion notes you enter are transmitted over an encrypted connection to BeHope360’s private processing service and OpenAI to return an editable nutrition estimate.

Snap a Meal processing

BeHope360’s service does not intentionally save the food image, prompt, estimate, or access code. It stores temporary allowance information, including a random request identifier and scan counts, to prevent abuse. Requests to OpenAI specify that the response should not be stored as application state. OpenAI may process API data under its applicable service and abuse-monitoring policies. Do not include people, confidential documents, or unrelated personal information in a meal photo.

Notifications, camera, and microphone

BeHope360 asks only when you choose a feature that needs access. The camera is used for food, nutrition labels, or progress photos. The microphone is used by the guitar tuner for live on-device pitch detection; audio is not recorded or uploaded. Notifications are used for reminders you enable.

Website and external services

The public website does not request personal health or journal information. Links to services such as Apple, Spotify, YouTube, AllTrails, Bible resources, and Pilot Work open those services, which have their own privacy practices.
